Great softball experiences don't happen by accident. They happen because of amazing volunteers! From coaching on the field to helping behind the scenes, every contribution makes a difference for our players.
Ways to Get Involved
Find a volunteer opportunity that fits your interests and availability.
Coaches & Assistant Coaches
Help players develop skills, confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for softball. Training and resources are available.
Coach Compliance
Manage coach registration, background checks, SafeSport training, and required certifications to ensure all PGSL coaches meet league and USA Softball requirements.
Field Preparation
Help prepare fields before games and practices, including dragging, lining, and setting up equipment.
Snack Shack
Support our league by helping with food and beverage sales during games and tournaments.
Uniforms
Coordinate uniform orders, sizing, and distribution for PGSL teams. Work with vendors and coaches to ensure players receive the correct uniforms before the season begins.
Special Events
Assist with the planning and implementation of various events during the season (Opening Day, Player Appreciation Day, Picture Day).
Junior Umpire Support
Help coordinate, mentor, and support our junior umpires as they learn valuable leadership skills.
Fundraising & Sponsorships
Help organize fundraising activities, connect with local sponsors, and support opportunities for our players.
League Administration
Lend your skills to registration, communications, website updates, scheduling, or other behind-the-scenes league operations.
Volunteer Requirements
The safety and well-being of our players is always a priority. Depending on the volunteer role, additional requirements may include background screening, SafeSport training, concussion education, and other league or governing-body requirements.
PGSL will provide information about any required steps for your role.
